The proposal seeks to develop knowledge and professional skills in the area of ​​integrated management of urban, livestock, industrial pests and disease vectors, highlighting the importance of the topic in food safety, quality management systems and responsible environmental management.

Currently, the rational management of urban pests represents a challenge for all those people linked to health systems and specific systems related to food quality. At a local or global level, the appearance of emerging pests and the evolution or adaptation of historical pests requires high levels of specialization and training of all those actors linked to the prevention and/or control of these organisms.
