UCABA and Expoplagas 2018: training and defense of public health

Technical note on uCABA and Expoplagas 2018: training and defense of public health, with a focus on diagnosis, prevention and criteria applicable to professional pest management.

Nota sobre UCABA y Expoplagas 2018

UCABA, Union of Chambers and Associations of Buenos Aires in Urban Pest Management, was born in 2013, when various chambers and associations of companies dedicated to pest management in urban spaces, both in the City of Buenos Aires and the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, decided to unify into an organization that synthesizes and projects the experiences and knowledge accumulated over 20 years.

The challenges of current times place permanent technical, commercial and human training as the central core of its concerns. In this sense, EMIPUA was created, the First University School in Urban Pest Management and the Environment, as well as the monthly training system transmitted online to the entire country.

UCABA proposes and manages projects to improve activity before public organizations and is available to them as a reference and collaboration in situations of vector-related epidemiological emergencies.

Expoplagas, this year to be held on October 3 and 4, is a creation of UCABA and has become a regional reference that brings together public organizations, companies, laboratories and manufacturers, input distributors, faculties, research centers and technical management professionals, in a meeting and project design environment to contribute to the defense of public health. By unifying efforts and deploying ideas, UCABA becomes a necessary reference for the pest control industry in urban spaces.
